Jacquard Weaves
Jacquard fabric is any fabric woven on a jacquard loom. This weaving technique allows intricate and complex designs to be woven in the fabric.
- Damasks, stripes, checks, brocades and tapestries are all created on a jacquard loom. The patterns are produced by the intentional having warp yarns skip over weft yarns.
- Complex and beautiful patterns can be achieved by weaving for example (1) weft yarn over (2) warp yarns in a specific weave pattern.
